Pruzbul

Although most authorities hold a pruzbul is needed at the end of shmita, the Rosh and others say to also make a pruzbul before shmita. For those interested, you can fill out a pruzbul online, or you can click on the picture above, print it out and fill it out yourself, with your own "Bais Din".

It is ridiculous that Shmita brings huge income to Israeli enemies in Gaza and the Palestinian territories. Whatever are the religious overtones, they cannot excuse purchases from HAMAS voters. What do you think of Obadiah Shoher interpretating Shmita as charity obligation rather than agricultural rule? (Here, for example http://samsonblinded.org/blog/shmita-year-is-about-charity-not-agriculture.htm ) Anyway, I'll better buy from atheist kibbutzim than from Gaza.

It is a sin to use shmita produce whether or not they are religious farmers. If Hashem doesn't want the Arab farmers profiting then He has ways of making them lose it another way. We aren't smarter than G-d. We need to follow the laws of the Torah and He will sustain whoever He wants to. By not following the Torah we give more power to our enemies
