Also, it's the yahrzeit of Rebbe Menachem Mendel of Bar, a talmid of the Baal Shem Tov.
I actually was going to do a whole post on him, but I don't know if I'll have the time. He was one of the early talmidei Baal Shem I will add it in the meantime here.
